Temel amac\u0131, bir istemci (genellikle bir web taray\u0131c\u0131s\u0131) ile bir sunucu aras\u0131nda iletilen t\u00fcm verilerin gizli ve b\u00fct\u00fcnl\u00fc\u011f\u00fcn\u00fcn korunmas\u0131n\u0131 sa\u011flamakt\u0131r.
